Moreover, Soka Art is the first art institution to conduct in-depth academic researches on Chinese artists in the 20th century.
It sorts and manages important works of those artists, including Lin Fengmian, Zhou Bichu, Dai Bingxin, Qin Xuanfu, etc., thus making Soka Art one of the few galleries in the world that sorts out the history of Chinese art in the 20th century systematically.

About Soka Art
Founded in 1992 in Tainan, Taiwan, Soka Art is mainly engaged in the works of outstanding Asian contemporary artists.
It is the first gallery in Taiwan to systematically manage Asian contemporary art.
Soka Art Beijing was established In 2001. Mr Xiao Fuyuan, the person in charge, became the first person to open a gallery in Taiwan to the mainland.
Soka was also the first gallery in China to operate from the perspective of art history and academics. Since its inception, Soka has done a lot of research, finishing and collection of Chinese classic oil paintings.
Agents from the first generation of artists Li Tiefu, Lin Fengmian, Yan Wenliang, Xu Beihong and other art history has been positioned by the classic artists to focus on discovering and promoting potential contemporary artists.
Soka entered the management of contemporary art In 2003 and began to discover and recommend a new generation of original Chinese artists.
Beijing Soka Contemporary Space was established In 2005. By inviting international professional curators to plan exhibitions.
Chinese contemporary artists have successfully recommended to the international community and introduced the works of Asian contemporary artists to the mainland and Taiwan.
Taipei Soka was re-established and dedicated to the management and promotion of contemporary Asian art In 2007. Beijing Soka moved to the famous 798 Art District.

Soka now has strongholds in Beijing, Taipei and Tainan.
