At that moment, I think we will finally understand that the empty shell of corporeality, only what people have, only memories.
Although they are like fireworks, they are destined to be silent, but in the night of consciousness, the brightness of the moment it blew out almost illuminates the entire life.
In Guo Binbin’s works, roses, butterflies, rocks, and seawater – these figurative symbols form an empty space or crushed. The tiny people on the envelope disapprove of the surrounding environment, revealing in the space. The sense of tension reached a certain balance, and “memory” is just a hidden bridge between balanced fantasy and reality.
A blooming flower, a butterfly that flies gently by the water’s bridle, the pounding and shortness of the fireworks, and the beauty and perishability of the butterfly.
She tried to use the forms and materials of traditional Chinese painting. She considers being the closest to nature, using her expression of memory to reflect her understanding of the world and her life.
