On November 25, 1.5 million square meters global home furnishing and decoration complex, the Manjinghua(MJH) international Art Design Center (iADC), will be officially kicked off.

The core project iADC MALL will be the first to unveil. Nearly 300 brands, more than 200 international design brand representatives, around 100 media will be attending the grand opening ceremony, as well as a number of heavyweight industry leaders who will gather together at the Industry Leadership Forum on that day.

Around 300 brands in iADC embracing the latest international design trends

At present, 80 International brands and more than 180 Chinese high-end brands making up a total of about 300 brands will welcome the your visit at iADC MALL (first phase). More than 120Italian well-known manufacturers and representatives will take part in the opening ceremony activities. Among the brands signing on with iADC, 75 brands has their first debut in Shenzhen, more than 40 brands open their first flagship stores in shenzhen, and nearly 30 brands take their foray into Chinese market for the first time.

La Galleria on the first and second floors holds nearly 60 Italy’s top household brands, providing customers with international high-quality home experience within immediate reach. The showrooms designed by Italian masters well represent the brands’ styles and personalities. For example, Living Divani flagship store is the work of renowned designer Piero Lissoni, and Armani Casa showroom is designed by Armani Studio.

Industry Leadership Forum: masters’ view on the future of design

The overall planning and design of MJH-iADC are by Chinese architect master Rocco Yim, who worked with noted design company Woods Bagot to contribute to this artistic and experiential community complex.

Located in the core position of Guangdong-Hong Kong-and-Macao Greater Bay Area, MJH-iADC will be welcoming the arrival of the big names in design from home and abroad and attracting people from different fields upon its opening.

Rocco Yim, lead designer of iADC, Shou-zhi Wang, dean of Bay Area Design College and founder of modern design education in China, as well as designer Marco Piva and Arturo Dell ‘Acqua, one of the founders of Salone del Mobile, will appear at the iADC and deliver speeches at the Bay Area Design Forum. They will convey their ideas about the impact of iADC on city, industry, and people.

At the Bay Area Design Forum, they will discuss around the topics of “the future of design ecological chain, convergence and independence of design, future of design education, and Consumption design”. You will not be willing to miss their sparkling thoughts.

Shouzhi Wang leads the Bay Area Design College unveiling

In response to people’s increasing need of a better design education, MJH invited Shouzhi Wang to set up the Bay Area Design College.

Bay Area Design College will be located in the center of MJH-iADC, with a construction area of about 20,000 square meters, composed of “Bay Area Design and Research Institute” and “Bay Area Design School”

At present, Bay Area Design College has achieved strategic cooperation with Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and other Chinese colleges and universities. On November 25, it will be officially unveiled.

The iADC project aims to satisfy the creative workers’ needs of design, exhibition, working, socializing and living all in one neighbourhood, which actually highlights MJH ’s view: There is no essential boundary between culture and life.

As another great project of MJH after ADC (Art Design Center in Luohu District, Shenzhen), the iADC has attracted a lot of media attention since the very beginning.
